First of all, thank you so much for checking out Tuneful Radio! If you’ve clicked this page, you probably want to know who I am and a bit about me!
My name is Natalia Anderson and I am a podcast producer, host and DJ! If it’s not obvious already, I’m also someone who is passionate about music. I love listening to it, experiencing it live, playing it, talking about it and sharing it!
Having grown up in what I think was the golden era of music television, as a young person I couldn’t decide whether I wanted to be an MTV VJ or a Rock Star! Despite being told I should choose to focus on one or the other (*cries in millennial), if I’m really honest with you, I just wanted to do both!
I started learning the classical guitar at 11 years old and then at 16 I discovered chords! Suddenly I could actually sing and play along to most of the songs I heard on the radio! This then lead me to start writing my own songs. I eventually started gigging around London and shortly after formed a band that would become my whole world. At this point I just wanted to “make it” or even for the industry to notice us and care.
It wasn’t to be but I realised back then that if ever I got to work in the music industry, I would want to do my best to highlight all the amazing bands and artists who were just like me – trying to be heard.
To this day I think that Jools Holland has the best job in the world and I suppose in a way, I created Tuneful Radio (and its predecessor, Tuneful TV) so that I could one day give myself that job!
When I look to the future of Tunful Radio, I hope it can evolve into a platform to help people to connect through music. Think live music showcases, listening parties, music launches, live podcast recordings and much more!

This is where my online career began. Tuneful TV is my baby! The truth is I created it just so I could interview one of my all time favourite artists, Fefe Dobson when she came to London in 2011! Following that I realised it was a great way to give myself the experience I needed in presenting and hosting whilst simultaneously attempting to get noticed by MTV and Channel 4 😂 By the way I should mention here that I did eventually get noticed by Virgin Media and was able to finally be on TV presenting their music channel! 🎉
Tuneful TV was also a way for me to highlight unsigned and indie music talent that I loved.
I then went on to make weekly videos watching The Voice UK and subsequently in 2014 I began yearly vidoes reviewing and reacting to the Eurovision Song Contest! The latter exploded my channel amongst the Eurovision fandom and I became a respected commentator in the community.
