Evita Koné is a Geneva-based hip-hop, neosoul, and R&B artist who seamlessly blends rap and singing with rare versatility. With Chadian, African American, and Swiss heritage, she brings a multicultural perspective to songs that weave together personal storytelling and social themes, from love and resilience to feminism, antiracism, and generational healing. Known as a member of Geneva’s hip hop/soul collective Captains of the Imagination, Evita also shines as a solo artist, where her unique voice and vision come fully into focus.
Following her debut EP Break, produced by Christophe Calpini, awarded the Swiss Live Talents Prize, and performed on stages including Montreux Jazz Festival and Jam’in Jette (Brussels), Evita returns in autumn 2025 with her first full-length album Build + Bloom (Herd Culture Kids). Entirely directed by herself, the 10-track project expands her sonic range with a collective of young producers and reflects her growth into a more confident, mature sound. The title embodies her journey: after breaking through with her debut, Build + Bloom marks both reconstruction and artistic flourishing.
On stage, Evita Koné is first and foremost a performer. Whether with her full live band or in a stripped-down setup, she captivates audiences with a warm, graceful presence that transforms each concert into an invitation. Audiences often leave with the feeling of having shared her joy from within — a quality that sets her apart as she builds momentum toward new audiences in Switzerland, Europe, and beyond.
Build + Bloom hits streaming platforms on October 24, 2025, with a release show at La Gravière (Geneva) on November 13, 2025, accompanied by a limited-edition vinyl.
