My guests today go the name of Hale Zero. They are 3 brothers changing the musical landscape of the fashion world one party at a time. Not only are they THE go to DJ’s for all the best fashion parties (you only have to check their website for the long list of notable clients), they are also music producers, composers and artists. They are gifted polymaths. Renaissance men of our time and I’m so happy to introduce them to you today! Please welcome to Tuneful Radio, Carl, Greg and Raf of Hale Zero!
In this episode Hale Zero describe the sounds of their childhood, learning to play music by ear from the Jazz CDs of their father, extending that hands on education to playing music in church. They attended the renowned Brit School and even suggested that I would fit in there! Their journey takes them from studying art at Central St Martins, through to being session musicians to working as music producers and composers. They’ve done it all and their DJ career is just the tip of the iceberg!
We touch upon what they think is THE most iconic HipHop beat of all time and we find out why they think rock guitarists are better than gospel guitarists!
This conversation for me was confirmation to trust your gut, keep moving forward and expressing your creativity in everything that you do!
